Motorola Mobile Phone Tools doesn't detect my Motorola L6 via (Bluesoleil's dongle) bluetooth? I recently updated my Motorola Mobile Phone Tools from their website. I now have the latest version. It doesn't have an option to manually specify a COM port and the phone connected. The only option to get my phone connected is to make it search for bluetooth devices. I tried making my phone discoverable for 60 seconds and made Motorola Mobile Phone Tools detect it. But it's not able to detect my L6, despite it being visible in Bluesoleil's window. Bluesoleil even has a Bluetooth DUN Modem on COM15. But there's simply no way for me to tell stupid Motorola Mobile Phone Tools about it, rather than wasting time searching for new bluetooth devices. I'm really fed up with this thing. Please help me. Thanks in advance and have a nice day...

After i installed it and it told me to plug in my phone to the computer, it says it will detect it on it's own and start setting up. I plugged it in and it hasn't even detected it!!! Motorola Phone Tools 4 "Unable to communicate with the mobile phone" message? I connected fine and it found my phone and recognized it. (I have an alltel V3a Razr) However, when I try to send .mp3, ringtones, or pictures, or try to look into my phone through the PC, it says "CONNECTING" then it says "Unable to communicate with the mobile phone" I am running Windows XP. I tried to do the live update, but it said it "timed out" I've tried it twice. I don't think the update is the problem because it initialized my phone.

Why does my motorola v220 not work with mobile phone tools 4.0? It detects the phone, then comes up with a message saying 'this device is not compatible with phone tools 4.0 use it anyway?' Pressed yes, says the device is not connected. But it managed to load up multimedia manger (or something like that) and did not like then phone, as it said it wasn't there. Could I download a patch to make it work on phone tools 4.0 (the phone has a usb port and is pretty new)? Or any ideas what to do 10 points if up for grabs here! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! RAZR V3 - Motorola Phone Tools not able to detect my device? I have installed the latest version of Motorola Phone Tools and connect to the PC using USB chord.
