What Air Ratchet to buy?
I already have one, but it came from a air tool kit I bought at walmart. It is not as powerful as I would like and when I try to use the ratcheting function, it some times pushes the motor backwards. I have Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, and (a physical location of) Northern Tools, to shop at. I am working on cars more and more and I need something to get in those tight places, and get the job done quickly. The more versatile it is, the more I can save more time and work. Looking for a 3/8 drive. I think I am going with #IR109XP

- Ingersoll/Rand has some of the best quality air tools ever made.I have had my air gun/impact wrench for 15 years and it still works great.I have a $15.00 CP (Chicago Pneumatic,I call it asthmatic) air ratchet, and it sucks.I find myself going faster with a speed wrench because the bearings failed too easily. Remember, you sometimes get what you pay for.
- if you could get your hands on one Mac Tools sell the best one i have ever used gear driven and very strong but it will smash your hands if your not holding on
- Ingersoll-Rand. Available at Sears. Note: according to the Mac tools salesman, I-R makes the Mac air tools, so save the money and buy the I-R (that way you aren't paying extra for 3 letters).
