I need help creating the scarecrow in Virtaul Villagers 2?

After reading this: 3) scarecrow... adept farmer can construct to protect the crops from the birds. Drag an adept farmer to the twisted pieces of wood and vines that are located in the northern portion of the village. scarecrow requires 2 trips to finish, so make sure that you finish the construction, or your crops will not be protected. ....It does not work for me.... Where do I exactly need to go to the twisted pieces of wood and vines that are located in the northern portion of the village? Everytime I go to the top of the screen and put my farmer up there all he says is that he needs a sharp tool for this. I am obviously not going to the right spot! Can someone help me? Thanks!!

1. Just to the right of all the thorny bushes. You'll see the pile of rocks, right below that is the wood pieces. Drag your villager there and he will gather the wood and go back to make the scarecrow. Make sure you drag him back a 2nd time so he can finish the scarecrow.
