Where can I find a really good tool set?
I used to work in a hardware store and I know that most of those tool sets you can buy have a ton of things you don't need along with the things you do need. I want to buy my hubby a really nice tool set with good quality tools... but I don't want all that extra stuff... like the tape measure, hammer, screwdrivers... ect, I already have those things. Where can I find something like that? Or do I just have to buy individual items?

- Sears, Craftman tools are pretty good tools at a reasonable price.
- Look at http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/subcat.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&cat=Tool+Sets&subcat=Home+Owner+Tool+Sets They have a lot of tool sets. Try this one too http://www.northerntool.com/ Use tool set as your search term.
- Sears has nice lifetime warranty tool sets and in different sizes. Go online and check em out
- SEARS
- SEARS
- Sears has some really nice Craftsman basic set.
- Ebay
- go 2 home depot
- Sears tends to have pretty good sets of useful pieces, and lots of choices. You can get a socket set (SAE and Metric), a wrench set, etc... Also remember that Craftsman branded tools carry a lifetime exchange at the store. That's worth a lot to me. Better to put together the kit yourself, as you've suggested, than to buy a weird setup with tape and such.
- SEARS! Better yet, get him a gift card at Sears and let him pick what he thinks he needs. Tools=the other woman!
- Sear's Craftsman tool at your nearest Sears or at www.sears.com
- If he is not using them for a living, all dey every day, Craftsman tools at Sears are the best choice. they are fairly strong and inexpensive with a lifetime warrany. They have a million differant assortments or buy them seperate... If u love him dearly though, Buy him Snap-On tools, They are a investment for the future
- Sear's Craftmans are usually a good standard brand of tool.. They also have a lifetime warranty on most of there products, so if something breaks it can be replaced.. You may need to buy some things seperately... Hope that helps good luck
