How do you UNCOPYRIGHT a COPYRIGHTEN GAME CD/DVS which you buy it and use it as a image into daemon tools?

I bought a cd game and I wanted to made an image(.nrg, .iso) to use it onto the daemon tools software so to have my optical drive free...And every time I try to mount the game image it's say that is a copyright game and ask me to insert the original game cd.please, help!I do something legal as long as i own the cd...?!

  1. 1) It's illegal to make a copy of the CD - period - unless you're the copyright owner, unless the part that you're using (and it can only be a small part) would come under the fair use doctrine. (Playing the game without the CD in the computer doesn't.) 2) The game is looking for a particular sector on the CD that doesn't get copied if you copy the CD - it's marked as unwritten to. Standard copy protection stuff. And I'll bet that a sector before that one is damaged (deliberately) so you can't make an image that includes that sector unless you know enough that you wouldn't be asking for help. (Probably a damaged sector - so it can't even be copied by dd-rescue. Or maybe a pattern of damaged sectors. Again, pretty standard stuff.)
