What is the best cleaning product and cleaning tool to scrub a tile shower with?

I am newer to cleaning and need some help. I have a white tile shower with white grout. The grout and tiles (especially on the floor of the shower) are kind of turning brownish. What is the best product to use to get them white again? Also I am unsure what the best tool to use for this job. A scrub brush? A sponge? Do I need to let the cleaning product sit on the tiles for a while? Also I have a glass door that I would like to get the water drop marks off of. What would work best for the glass door? How often should I clean the shower the tiles looking beautifully white. Thanks for your help :)

1. The best cleaner for the shower is scrub free and Target has it. I use it with a white scrubbie so it won't scratch the shower. Spray it on and wipe evenly, then spay again if needed. Cleans well and is very reasonable priced. I have been cleaning for 25 years.
2. I use BarKeepers Friend. You can find it at Wal-Mart next to the Comet. It works way better though. Just wet the shower, sprinkle and then scub it with a nail brush till it comes out. This handy powder cleans everything and gets those deep down stains as well as hard water stains. You can clean it just once a week. As an antifungal after shower spray, I mix 2 tsp tea tree oil (Wal-Mart pharmacy by the witch hazel) into a spray bottle with 12oz water. Shak and mist over the walls and floor to prevent mold. It won't blow you away like bleach and it won't hurt your clothes if you accidentally spray it on yourself. As for your glass door, a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts water in a spray bottle will effectively clean all glass surfaces leaving a streak free shine. To prevent things from sticking to mine, I give the glass and surrounding metal, a very light coating of car wax after I clean and dry it.. Just don't get it on your shower floor or you could get hurt.
3. I find that the Scrub Free, with bleach works wonders.....it keeps my tubs & showers nice and white. No need for a tool, wash cloth works good.
4. Scrub free, bartenders helper, or adding some gas stain remover like rcl should be applied first for two hour soak. The dripping needs attention again. I put a concentrated spray in a container to spray and go as I check in for the two hour period every half hour. Adding this concentrate loosens those stained areas. Use teflon scrubbies that come in bundles at dollar store often 10 for a dollar. These come in color coded packs green is for kitchen, white for bath, orange for laundry. This industrial strength tool comes with handle kits too. I am trying one my hotel friends swears from osco pharmacy is made to scrub tile. 5. Tilex for soap scum. just sprayit on, let it sit a few minutes and then wipe off with a sponge.
6. How long the cleaning product needs to sit on the tiles depends on the product you use. How often you clean depends on how clean you want the tiles looking. I would use a sponge and a scouring cleanser. Apply plenty of water (if the scouring cleanser is concentrated), then wipe or rinse off. The product I use is really powerful. In fact, it got rid of some really tough dried on stains that ordinary soap could not remove. It even cleans burnt on food.
