How do I use daemon tools to mount files?

I've got some instructions from a torrent that says "mount image files using daemon tools". How can I use Daemon Tools to mount files and what exactly does it do?

1. First start up Daemon tools. On the bottom right corner where you taskbar is there should be a little red icon with a lighting thing in it (Something similar) Right click go to Virtual CD/ DVD - ROM Then go to Device 0 (It should say a number) Then a arrow will lead you to the right (or left, it varies) Then it will say mount image, you must manually select what you want to mount and it must be an Iso File What mounting essentially does it start a program with a disk.
