How do I get rid of Daemon tools?

I deleted daemon tools from my coputer. But, whenever I log on to my computer some window pops up saying that "in order to use daemon tools lite you need administraitor privileges". or something like that. I keep trying to check to see if daemon tools is still on my computer but I can't find it. It's slowing down my computer. Help... it has also gotten hold of my sony vegas for some reason and is stopping it from starting up.
