Whats the difference between Infra Recorder and Daemon Tools?

I have Infra Recorder but something I downloaded says I need Daemon Tools what is the difference between them? If I cant use Infra Recorder in Daemon Tools what can I use in its place because Daemon Tools won't work.

1. Daemon Tools is an virtual cd emulator. Infra Recorder is a burning app.(maybe it also has virtual cd capabilites)
2. Daemon Tools is a virtual CD/DVD-ROM, it makes the computer think you inserting a real CD/DVD into the disk drive tray on your computer. It saves you time burning it. InfraRecorder is a CD/DVD image burning program.
