How come computer games dont work with my computer even with Daemon Tools?

GTA Vice City worked in the first month of my new computer so i unistalled and reinstalled like a year later buh it does'nt work. PLEASE HELP Please tel me what to download and what maybe the problem

1. Try going into Control Panel, uninstalling it there, and then go back using the Run Box then Browse, find the game folder and delete that entire folder. Then reinstall it all over from scratch that may help.
2. Have you tried installing any games since then and if so have they worked? If NO games work on your computer you may have a corrupted component.
